Heart Envelopes

Although I'm not sending out valentines yet, I thought I might share how I made them:)
Materials:
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Scissors
  • Tape
I think the pictures pretty much explain the process, except  these become drastically small by the end. After folding the envelope, I recommend using tape to hold everything in place rather than glue, so the recipient can unfold the message.

BONUS CRAFT(picture at the top of post):
Materials:
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • A board
  • Markers/Pens ( I used calligraphy pens)
  • Glue or Mod Podge
  • Scissors
Directions:
  1. Cut a heart out of scrapbook paper
  2. Glue silhouette onto board
  3. Cut around silhouette
  4. Write message on heart's space

Fun with Snail Mail!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, it becomes difficult sometimes looking for a GOOD diy. Good, at least, in the sense that I could take a break from studying for the finals. Anyway, I've been trying to keep in contact with old friends more through snail mail, chat, video chat, etc. For their birthdays I want to send them something.... creative. Not just a package or a giftcard. Before you read on please keep in mind that these are mere ideas, that I have not tested.
